NOPD seeks person of interest in triple homicide

Police are searching for a man they believe may have information on a triple homicide that occurred on Oct. 4.

NEW ORLEANS -- Police are searching for a man they believe may have information on a triple homicide that occurred on Oct. 4.

According to NOPD, police are searching for the unidentified man pictured above as a person of interest in relation to the shooting that killed three people and wounded two more in Mid-City.

The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 3700 block of Ulloa Street. According to NOPD, First District officers responded to a call about a shooting in the area.

When officers arrived, three people were found suffering from gunshot wounds with numerous bullet casings in the area.

The coroner later identified those three people as 34-year-old Darome Hilton, 20-year-old Glenquel Emerson and 22-year-old Bobbie Basquine. One of them was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other two were taken to the hospital for treatment, where they died.

During the investigation, police discovered there were two other shooting victims who were taken to the hospital by private conveyance.
