NEW ORLEANS — Update: On Friday, Nov. 17, the NOPD's Violent Offender Squad, along with U.S. Marshals, arrested Raymond Coats in the 7500 block of Stonewood Drive. The 20-year-old is being held on one count of second-degree murder.
New Orleans police need help identifying and finding someone wanted in a homicide investigation.
Police say it happened Wednesday afternoon in the 3400 block of Franklin Avenue where they found a man shot multiple times.
“At approximately 5:24 P.M., NOPD officers responded to a call of a person shot at the location. Upon arrival, the officers found an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds to the body,” the NOPD said in a report.
The man was taken to the hospital by EMS but later died from his injuries.
