NOPD: Man arrested for Tremé shooting

It happened just before 6 a.m. Thursday morning.

NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department arrested a man for an early morning shooting in Tremé.

The shooting happened just before 6 a.m. Thursday morning in the 2600 block of Ursuline Avenue.  

Around 10:30 a.m. police announced they arrested 31-year-old Terrance Lee.

Lee allegedly shot a man in the leg. The victim was taken to hospital by EMS.

Officers have not released any details on what led up to the shooting.
