NEW ORLEANS — UPDATE: The Orleans Parish Coroner's Office identified the victim on Thursday, July 18, as 35-year-old Vontraz Pollard.
The New Orleans Police Department says a man was shot and killed in Central City Monday.
The shooting happened in the 2800 block of Danneel Street around 3 p.m. Police say when they arrived at the scene, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds.
EMS took the victim to hospital, where he later died.
