NEW ORLEANS — The NOPD is investigating a homicide that occurred in New Orleans East early Monday morning.
A preliminary NOPD report shows that the victim was closing his business in the 4600 block of Downman Road when someone walked up to him and started a fight with the owner. Police say the suspect then shot the business owner who died at the scene.
