NEW ORLEANS -- Police are looking for two people and a vehicle of interest in a shooting that left two people injured just off Bourbon Street early Saturday morning.
The shooting happened just after 2 a.m. in the 800 block of Toulouse Street.
According to police spokesman Aaron Looney, the two groups got into a verbal argument inside of a Bourbon Street bar and apparently continued or was picked up on Toulouse Street. Looney said that as one of the groups was walking away, someone in another group opened fire and then the group walking away retaliated.
Officials said crime camera footage captured images of two people they believe to be involved in the shooting. Police also said they are looking for a newer model Kia Soul that may be connected to the shooting. The car did not have a license plate at the time of the shooting.
Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
