NEW ORLEANS — The NOPD is investigating an aggravated battery by shooting that happened at the intersection of Tulane Ave and South Clark Street Saturday morning.
According to an initial police report, one victim sustained at least one gunshot wound to the body.
The victim was transported to a local area hospital by private conveyance. Investigators did not say what condition the victim was in when they were transported to the hospital.
The NOPD report says they received the call about the shooting at about 7:50 a.m. but did not have the shooting confirmed until 10:21 a.m.
