NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating two separate shootings within 12 hours.
The first shooting happened Sunday at about 2:53 p.m. at the intersection of Saint Anthony and Henrietta Delille Street.
Initial information from NOPD shows at least one victim sustained at least one gunshot wound to the body.
The victim arrived at a local area hospital by private conveyance.
The second shooting happened in the 600 block of Poland Ave. NOPD did not say when exactly they received the call of the shooting but sent a report out at 3:00 a.m. Monday.
