NEW ORLEANS -- The New Orleans Police Department is investigating the fatal shooting of a 28-year-old man Sunday night in Central City.
Police authorities said it happened around 10:30 p.m., in the 2400 block of Dryades St.
Authorities said officers responded to a call reporting gunfire at a club located at the corner of Second and Dryades streets. According to a release, when officers arrived they found the victim lying in the street, and he was pronounced dead on the scene.
No information was given on a suspect or motive.
