NOPD: 2 adults, 2 juveniles shot on I-10 at Read Boulevard

A 11-year-old boy is in critical condition, and the other three victims are in fair condition.

NEW ORLEANS — Four people were shot on I-10 East at Read Boulevard, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

Officials say that two women, an 8-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy, were shot. All four victims were taken to the hospital by EMS.

The 11-year-old boy is in critical condition, and the other three victims are in fair condition.

The interstate was shut down for about an hour at I-10 East at Read Boulevard while police were investigating.

No other information is available at this time.
