NEW ORLEANS, Bridgetown — The New Orleans Fire Department says they are on the scene of what is believed to be the components of a meth lab at the former Trinity Yachts site in Gentilly Woods.
Two suspects were arrested with about a pound of meth in the 4300 block of France Road Friday night by the Port of NOLA Harbor Police, according to NOFD.
After the arrest, investigators searched the two-story commercial structure. NOFD said it "produced what is believed to be the components of a meth lab on the second floor of the building."
The New Orleans Police Department’s Bomb Squad, FBI, and DEA were also called to the scene.
This is an active incident.
