NEW ORLEANS — A toddler was shot in the leg Friday night, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Police said the 2-year-old child was brought to a hospital in New Orleans East for treatment.
Officers said the shooting happened around 10:04 p.m.
The NOPD has yet to say where the shooting occurred.
The investigation is being conducted by the NOPD Child Abuse Unit.
