NEW ORLEANS — A woman was shot during an armed robbery in Mid-City Wednesday morning, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Police say they were called to 400 block of Banks Street around 8 a.m. When officers arrived, they were told that the victim had at least one gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital by EMS.
Investigators later spoke with the victim, and she told them that she was shot during an armed robbery.
