Narcotics investigation in Terrebonne Parish ends with the arrest of a Houma family

All three family members were arrested and booked on a list of drug and firearm charges and are held on a $555,500 bond.

HOUMA, La. — A Houma Louisiana family has been arrested on multiple narcotics-related charges following a lengthy investigation by the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Robert Lee Miles, 54, Beverly Jones Miles, 60, and Robert Lee Miles Jr., 23, were arrested on charges, associated with the investigation.

“On September 26, shortly after 10:00 am, Agents of the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division conducted a search warrant in the 800 block of East Street, in connection with an ongoing narcotics investigation,” Sheriff Tim Soignet said in a report.

The sheriff said narcotics agents completed a search warrant on the Miles family home and recovered “distribution amounts” of Heroin, crack cocaine, Cocaine, Methamphetamines, Fentanyl, various prescription pills, three firearms, numerous items of Drug Paraphernalia used in the sale and distribution of narcotics, and a large amount of cash.
