NEW ORLEANS — Police are looking for a woman who reportedly stole a luxury Swiss watch worth tens of thousands of dollars at a New Orleans hotel.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, a man said he invited a woman to his hotel room around 3 a.m. on March 14 in the 600 block of Loyola Avenue. The man said he talked with the woman before falling asleep.
When he woke up, the man told police that his IPhone, chain with a pendant, more than $1,000 in cash and a rose gold Audemars Piguet watch were missing. The woman had also left before the man woke up.
Watches with similar designs to the reported stolen property are listed on Audemars Piguet's website for $50,000 - $80,000.
Police describe the woman having a thin build and wearing a short black skirt. The police department did not provide any additional description or photo of the suspect.
