NEW ORLEANS — A man sleeping in his vehicle on Bourbon Street wakes up to find someone stealing his vehicle while he is still asleep inside.
It happened in the 1100 block of Bourbon Street on Sunday evening.
The man woke to find another man behind the wheel and driving away in his 2015 Chevrolet Captiva.
The victim told police the suspect then pulled over in the 4000 block of Chef Menteur Highway, forced the victim out of his car, and demanded his personal property at gunpoint.
Police are searching for that suspect and vehicle.
