NEW ORLEANS — Two men were shot and killed in a pair of separate shootings Sunday morning, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
The NOPD is investigating a shooting Sunday morning that killed one man at the intersection of Leon C Simon Drive and Franklin Avenue, near the campus of UNO.
Police say they received the call just before 1:30 a.m.. A man who had been shot once was taken to the hospital where he later died.
There is currently no information on a suspect.
Several hours later, shortly after 9 a.m., Seventh District Officers responded to a shooting at the I-10 Service Road and Camberley Drive.
An adult male victim was found at the location suffering from one or more gunshot wounds.

The victim's identity will be revealed once an autopsy is done and his family has been notified.
