NEW ORLEANS — A man is recovering after he was shot and wounded in the East on Saturday night, NOPD officials said.
According to initial police reports, the man was shot in his leg around 7:45 p.m. in the 5700 block of Crowder Boulevard in the West Lake Forest neighborhood.
Police responded to the scene and he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police said the shooting is under investigation and no further details were available as of Saturday night.
