UPDATE: Detectives have interviewed Brett Scipio in regards to this incident. He is no longer considered a person of interest.
The investigation into this incident remains ongoing.
NOPD is looking for a person of interest in the murder of local rapper Young Greatness.
Police say, through investigation, 35-year-old Brett Scipio has been identified as a person of interest in the case. Scipio is not wanted for the incident.
Young Greatness, whose given name is Theodore Jones, was shot and killed outside of a Waffle House in the 2900 block of Elysian Fields on Oct. 29 around 1:35 a.m.
Jones, 34, was born in New Orleans, but moved to Houston after Hurricane Katrina. Police say Jones was in town for a funeral.
