NEW ORLEANS —
Investigators are still trying to determine who fatally shot a man in the Seventh Ward Saturday morning.
Just after midnight, New Orleans Police officers responded to a call about a shooting in the 2400 block of A.P. Tureaud Avenue. When they arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound to the body.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities did not release any information about a suspect Saturday morning.
The victim's name has not been released pending an autopsy and notification of his next of kin.
