Lutcher High teacher accused of sexual crimes with juveniles, arrested

Two teens reported incidents allegedly occurring between August and November.

LUTCHER, La. — The St. James Parish Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of a Lutcher High School via social media on Friday.

According to Sheriff Claude J. Louis, Jr., 50-year-old Gonzales (La.) resident Dwayne Thomassee was taken into custody and booked on two counts of Indecent Behavior with Juveniles and two counts of Misdemeanor Sexual Battery.

Thomassee's arrest comes following an investigation that began earlier this month after two teenage victims reported incidents that allegedly occurred between August and November.
