Women drive up to Loranger home and steal puppies from backyard, sheriff says

Home surveillance video shows one woman picking up the puppies and running back to her car, yards away from the home's driveway.

LORANGER, La. — The Tangipahoa Sheriff's Office is searching for two women after they stole puppies from someone's back porch in Loranger in June.

The incident happened on Saturday, June 22, in the 17000 block of Highway 40 when deputies were called to the home to report theft.

"The homeowner reported that two white women had just pulled into his driveway in an unknown white vehicle, got out and took three German Shepherd puppies off of their leashes from his back porch."

Home surveillance video shows one woman picking up the puppies and running back to her car, yards away from the home's driveway. The other woman is seen trying to wrangle up the rest of the puppies.
