KENTWOOD, La. — The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance after a Mississippi man was found dead in a car in Kentwood on Saturday morning.
Deputies said they received a call around 8:30 a.m. in connection to a medical emergency. The caller reported "seeing a man slumped over in a vehicle which was sitting idle in the middle of the road surrounded by glass," the release said.
The victim was identified as Edward Robertson, 43, of Magnolia, MS.
When first responders arrived on the scene at Brab Alford Lane near State Line Road, they said Robertson was found "shot dead in the vehicle."
TPSO Criminal Investigations detectives are actively working on this investigation but could use the public’s help especially to determine any motive or suspects.
