METAIRIE, La. — The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating an overnight shooting in Metairie that left one man dead.
JPSO says deputies were called to the 500 block of N Elm St. around 5 a.m. to reports of a shooting. They found 44-year-old Tory Jackson in a field in the area. Jackson had at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
