Marrero man wanted on murder charges, JPSO says

Deputies said Gerald Lampkin, 18, of Marrero is wanted on charges of first-degree murder, three counts of attempted first-degree murder and obstruction of justice.

JEFFERSON PARISH, La. — The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in finding a Marrero man wanted for murder and obstruction of justice.

Deputies said Gerald Lampkin, 18, of Marrero is wanted on charges of first-degree murder, three counts of attempted first-degree murder and obstruction of justice.

Lampkin was identified as a suspect from a shooting in Marrero last year in July.

"During the incident, four adults were shot with one being killed," the sheriff's office said in a release.
