NEW ORLEANS — Decomposing human remains were found on Saturday in a body of water near City Park, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
A fisherman near Mirabeau Avenue and Wisner Boulevard discovered the human remains around 12:47 p.m.
After seeing the body parts, the fisherman flagged down the police. NOPD says they are investigating the incident as an unclassified death.
