HOUMA, La. — The Houma Police Department is looking for a man believed to be the perpetrator in an armed robbery that occurred in the 400 block of Authement Street on Thursday.
According to police, the victim identified the suspect as Shawn Durkins, who allegedly pulled a gun and demanded cash, phone and car keys before fleeing the scene.
Police have yet to locate Durkins, and have asked for the public's assistance.
However, the police did warn that Durkins is considered armed and dangerous.
