NEW ORLEANS — Detectives with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office are investigating after a man was fatally shot outside a home in Pearl River.
“At approximately 8:30 p.m. Wednesday St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence on Ebb Guillot Road about a shooting incident,” the sheriff’s office said in a report released Friday.
When responding deputies arrived on the scene they located an unresponsive man, lying in the front yard of the residence. The sheriff’s office said the man had sustained what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
The parish coroner’s office is working to identify the victim.
The investigation is ongoing at this time and no additional information is available.
