NEW ORLEANS — Two people were shot in New Orleans East early Saturday morning, NOPD officials said.
Police told media outlets about the shooting around 1:45 a.m. Two men were reportedly shot in the 8600 block of Chef Menteur Highway.
Both men were transported to the hospital. Police did not give any information about the condition of either patient.
Information about a suspect or motive was not released Saturday morning.
