Do you know this person? Sheriff looking for person of interest in Tangipahoa homicide case

The victim’s body was found wrapped in a tarp on the side of Highway 51 between Fluker and the Village of Tangipahoa.

HAMMOND, La. — The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office has released images of an individual last seen driving the vehicle of 69-year-old homicide victim Nicholas Abraham.

According to TPSO detectives, Abraham's vehicle was found in Baton Rouge on Monday afternoon. The driver, who is the person of interest shown in the surveillance camera screenshots below, sped away from a traffic stop and ultimately fled after crashing the car.

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help identify a person of interest in the homicide investigation of a Baton Rouge man.

Abraham’s body was found Sunday morning wrapped in a tarp on the side of Highway 51 between Fluker and the Village of Tangipahoa. 

The Coroner’s Office has ruled Abraham was killed by blunt force trauma. 

Sheriff Gerald Sticker encourages anyone with information about the person seen in these pictures to contact the Criminal Investigations Office at 985-902-2008.
