BATON ROUGE, La. — Two East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office deputies were shot a suspect was killed during a drug search Thursday morning, according to our partners at WBRZ.
WBRZ says one deputy is in serious injuries, and the condition of the other officer is unknown.
The shooting happened on Robertson Avenue near the intersection of Hollywood Street and North Foster Drive.
The suspect allegedly shot at deputies, and the deputies fired back. The sheriff's office said the suspect died at the scene.
