High school student in DA Jason Williams' carjacking gets high bail bond

Ahmad Seals' bail bond is even higher than his fellow 18-year-old counterpart Raymond Rochon for the crime.

NEW ORLEANS — Another bail bond was set in the Orleans Parish District Attorney Jason Williams' carjacking case, this time for a student at George Washington Carver High School.

Wednesday afternoon 18-year-old Ahmad Seals' bond was set at $150,000 by Magistrate commissioner Peter Hamilton.

His bail bond is higher than Raymond Rochon, 18, whose bond is set at $120,000.

Seals' bond include two counts of being a principal in an armed robbery, with $75,000 for each count, according to our partners at Nola.com.

Seals was arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 24, and a third count of armed robbery from a separate carjacking.

According to Nola.com, Seals' defense said that he "has never faced criminal charges."

Hamilton ordered Seals to wear an ankle monitor if he makes bond.
