SLIDELL, La. — The Slidell Police Department announced on social media on Tuesday that a months-long narcotics investigation involving multiple agencies resulted in the arrest of a Northshore drug dealer and the seizure of illicit drugs, funds and a vehicle.
According to the Slidell PD, narcotics detectives worked with the Drug Enforcement Administration and Louisiana State Police to execute a warrant on the suspected dealer's Slidell-area home.
During the arrest, investigators located and seized the following:
- 64.89 grams of powder cocaine
- 217.67 grams of crack cocaine
- nearly $80,000 in illicit drug funds and total assets
- one vehicle used in the commission of dealing illegal narcotics
This is an ongoing investigation.
