BATON ROUGE, La. — A student at Southern University and A&M College died after a car accident on Tuesday night, according to school officials.
Condolences were extended to Donovan Burton's family, a freshman at the university.
"Donovan and another student were involved in a tragic car accident Tuesday night. Donovan unfortunately died at the scene," a release said.
The other student suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital. At this time, officials said there are no university or student planned memorials.
