Romney Richard lives directly behind Mandina's, she says she was there that fatal Friday night.
She described what she heard: "We had gone over there to have just a quick cocktail, my husband says you want to have another one, I said no let's go home. We weren't home like 15 minutes and then bam pop pop pop, and I said oh my gosh it sounded like it was right here. And he said let me go check and walked outside and came back and said it was bad."
She and her husband know the Mandina family very well and says she also knew Hilbert and his father.
