NEW ORLEANS — New Orleans Police are investigating a double shooting in Central City where a 35-year-old man was killed and another injured and sent to the hospital.
According to investigators, police were called to the intersection of Thalia and Baronne Streets shortly before 1:18 a.m. this morning on a report of a shooting.
Responding officers found one gunshot victim on the scene, later identified by the coroner as Terrell Massey. He was confirmed dead by New Orleans EMS.
Another victim was transported to the nearest hospital. Police did not say what condition they were in.
