ATLANTA (WXIA) – A new recall from Costco has affected products from Ajinomoto Windsor – including Yakitori Chicken Fried Rice, Petite Cuisine Southwest Chicken Firecrackers or Petite Cuisine Chicken Poblano Firecracker.
The manufacturer – Ajinomoto Windsor – has voluntarily recalled the products, which have “Best By” dates from May 1, 2016 to May 7, 2017 due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.
Out of an abundance of caution, the products containing frozen vegetables received from CRF Frozen Foods that are part of the recent national recall are being recalled.
There have not been any reported illnesses associated with the consumption of the foods in question. However, if you have any of the items left in your freezer, the manufacturer says to return them to your local Costco store for a full refund.
Costco is telephoning members that they have contact information for, who may have purchased the products, and says they will follow up those phone calls with a letter.
If you have any questions, please free to contact Ajinomoto Windsor customer service at 855-742-5011, Monday to Sunday 7 am to 5 pm Pacific Time or www.windsorfoods.com.
