We’ve collected links to the current levels of rising rivers across southeast Louisiana. Follow the links to see the latest gauge readings.

Bogue Chitto River

The Bogue Chitto River is rising at Bush, where it is forecast to crest at a record 23.5 feet on Sunday morning. The previous record was 21.2 feet. The Bogue Chitto at Franklinton crested on Friday and is falling.

Bogue Falaya River

The Bogue Falaya crested at a record 20.07 feet at the Boston Street gauge at Covington early Saturday morning. The previous record was 17.1 feet. The Bogue Falaya also crested upstream at the Camp Covington gauge, and levels are now falling at both locations.

Mississippi River
The Mississippi River is well below flood stage at New Orleans and Reserve. It is forecast to rise slightly but stay well below flood stage for at least the next week.

Pearl River
The West Pearl River is rising at the gauge at Pearl River, Louisiana and is expected to crest at a near-record level of 21.0 feet on Monday. The Pearl River at Bogalusa is within one foot of its record crest of 23.2 feet and is forecast to hover just below that record through Thursday.

Tangipahoa River
The Tangipahoa River has crested at the Amite, Kentwood and Osyka gauges. The river level is near its crest of 25 feet at the gauge near Robert, and it is expected to stay close to that level until Monday before it falls.

Tchefuncte River
The Tchefuncte River crested at a record 25.25 feet at the Folsom gauge Friday evening. The Tchefuncte also crested on Friday at the gauge near Covington at 31.2 feet, which is within one foot of its record level of 32.0 feet. The river is now falling at both gauges.
