K.C. Powers, the traffic reporter for the Eyewitness Morning News, has died.
Powers passed away over the weekend of natural causes.
Powers, a local broadcasting veteran who had spent many years as a reporter for the MetroScan traffic service, told friends and family that she loved her job and particularly loved being a part of the morning news team. She will be greatly missed by staff.
Her family is asking for help in locating her brother, Frankie Spiehler. They would like Frankie to contact them or call the WWL newsroom.
Funeral arrangements have not been finalized at this time.
