UPDATE: The Causeway Bridge has reopened following a several hour closure Monday morning.
The Lake Pontchartrain Causeway Bridge was closed in both directions early Monday due to high winds and loose barges. According to Causeway Director Carlton Dufrechou, two barges have been secured and two remain loose.
