NEW ORLEANS — If you use Cash App you may be eligible for a $2,000 payment from a class action settlement.
The company recently settled a $15 million class action lawsuit over data and security breaches.
If your account was accessed without your authorization, or if you had fraudulent withdrawals or transfers, you can now file a claim and receive up to $2,500.
You must only submit one claim form per person, even if you have multiple Cash App accounts, according to the settlement.
This is for customers who have or had an account after August 23, 2018.
You have until November 18 to file that claim.
