Sno-ball season is back in New Orleans!

We doubt cold temperatures will get in the way of New Orleanians and their snoballs...

NEW ORLEANS — There may have been near-freezing temperatures across Southeast Louisiana Friday morning, but that won't stop sno-ball fanatics from getting their fix. 

That's right. New Orleans' sno-ball season returns this weekend! 

Family favorites like Hansen's Sno-Bliz, Plum Street Snoballs, Sal's Sno-Balls and Pandora's Snowballs are all back open for business on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and will be serving up the regional favorite treat until the fall. 

Plum Street Snoballs opens Friday for 2-7 p.m., then holds those regular hours seven days a week from here on out, they announced in a Facebook post

They're located Uptown at 1300 Burdette Street, New Orleans. 

Hansen's Sno-Bliz will open their 81st season on Friday from 1- 7 p.m., then stay open Tuesdays through Sundays with those hours (closed on Mondays), they announced in a Facebook post.  

Seasons come and seasons go, only to return again. We are pleased to... announce the return of snoball season, our 81st, beginning tomorrow - Friday, February 28th, with regular hours - Open Tues-Sun 1-7 pm, Closed Mondays!

Hansen's is at 4801 Tchoupitoulas Street, New Orleans.

Sal's Sno-Balls, a Metairie favorite, also re-opens Saturday at 11 a.m. According to NOLA.com, Sal's traditionally opens on the last Saturday of February. It's open seven days a week from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. expect for Saturdays, when it opens at 11 a.m.  

Sal's Sno-Balls is located at 1823 Metairie Avenue in Metairie. 

Pandora's Snowballs opens Sunday and is celebrating its 50th year of service. 

Located at 901 N. Carrollton Avenue, New Orleans, Pandora's is open seven days a week from noon until 7 p.m.
