METAIRIE, La. — A Metairie restaurant was ranked in Yelp's 2024 top 100 Sushi Spots in the United States.
Yelps says America loves sushi, and it is one of the top-growing dining categories in the country.
Here is how Yelp put the list together. "We identified businesses in the Sushi category and then ranked those spots using a number of factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews," Yelp said. "All businesses were marked open on Yelp as of April 4, 2024. When available, all businesses on this list have a passing health score as of April 4, 2024."
Two local restaurants, Yakuza House ( No.72) and Aki Japanese Restaurant (No.81), made the cut.
Yakuza House is at 2740 Severn Avenue, Metairie, Louisiana 70002, and Aki Japanese Restaurant is at 510 N. Florida St., Covington, Louisiana 70433.
