Keith Lee makes first stop in Baton Rouge

NEW ORLEANS — He got it. He tried it.

TikTok influencer and food critic Keith Lee says Baton Rouge has been going nuts since he announced that he was visiting the city.

"The city is on 10. On high alert," Lee said.

He posted his first restaurant review for his Baton Rouge tour on Wednesday.

Lee tried four items at Fork N Spoon: maple bacon berry toast, banana berry french toast, braised beef grits with soft scrambled eggs, and loaded grits.

In 4-minute TikTok, he rated everything at least 7 out of 10. The braised beef grits with soft scrambled eggs received the highest rating, 8 out of 10.

"This is really good brunch," Lee said in a Tiktok. "For a very, very good price."

Fork N Spoon is open Tuesday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The restaurant officially opened on July 6, 2021. They are located at 1750 Brightside Dr f, Baton Rouge, LA.

Before Lee left the restaurant, he left a $3,000 tip and spoke with the owner and her staff.

"This is literally life-changing like you coming here in general, whether you like the food or not," chef and owner Kristen Abshire said.
