WATCH: Current and former colleagues, friends and family say goodbye to Sally-Ann Roberts

Sally-Ann Roberts said goodbye to WWL-TV after 40 years. Family, friends along with current and former colleagues were on hand in one of the largest gatherings ever in the WWL-TV studio.

Wednesday morning the New Orleans community bid farewell after 40 years to Sally-Ann Roberts. Hundreds of people sent their well wishes via social media and many community leaders congratulated her on her retirement. Here are some of the highlights:
