NEW ORLEANS — Taylor Swift's series of three concerts in the Caesars Superdome in October is expected to draw such a crowd of out-of-towners to the city that Southwest Airlines announced it is adding 10 flights around the concert dates, according to NOLA.com.
Swift is set for three concerts in the Superdome October 25-27 and it is expected to draw in crowds similar to a Super Bowl. The city, coincidentally, will host the big game in February.
Southwest is adding flights from Austin, Texas, and Baltimore/Washington on Oct. 24; then from Dallas Love Field Airport and San Antonio to New Orleans on Oct. 26. New returning flights will be added on Oct. 27, but those details weren't available.
