Parade coverage: Krewe of Endymion parade

Broadcasting from Gallier Hall with the Krewe of Endymion.

NEW ORLEANS — It's time for one of Carnivals biggest and most lavish parades - the Krewe of Endymion. Large floats, lots of them, parade innovations, tons of throws and huge crowds.

Endymion is the only parade that goes away from the primarily Uptown to CBD route of the rest of the city's major parades.

This year's grand marshals are New Orleans new police superintendent, Anne Kirkpatrick and the city's chief administrative officer, Gilbert Montano.

The parade started at it's traditional location and make its way down nearly the entire length of Canal Street before ending at its celebration destination.
