NEW ORLEANS — The 2023 Carnival season kicked off on January 6, and the Krewe of Bacchus is set to roll on Sunday, February 19, at 5:15 p.m.
The parade starts at the corner on Napoleon Avenue and Tchoupitoulas Street. They will go through uptown and downtown New Orleans and the parade will end Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
This year’s Bacchus theme is “Throw Me Something Mister.”
The krewe will have floats featuring Mr. Rogers, Mr. Bubble, Mr. Bingle, Mr. Clean, and even Mr. Mardi Gras - Blaine Kern.
WWL-TV will be broadcasting the Bacchus parade at 10 p.m. on Feb 19 from the Rendezvous at the Morial Convention Center. It will be available on WWLTV.com and the WWL-TV app.
Actor, screenwriter, comedian, and producer Adam Devine will reign as King for this year's parade.
