NEW ORLEANS — Whitney Miller is a Weekend Anchor and Reporter for WWL-TV; she joined the team in December 2022.
Whitney is a proud Texan. She started her career in Alaska at Your Alaska Link as a reporter. From there, she worked in Houston at Fox 26 as Morning Show Associate Producer and Digital Content Producer. After that, she got back in front of the camera as a Weekend Anchor at KBTX Media in Bryan, Texas.
Her last stop before coming to WWL-TV was in Cincinnati at WCPO-TV as a Reporter and Fill-In Anchor.
Whitney graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Public Affairs Journalism. She continued her education at DePaul University, where she graduated with a Master of Arts in Broadcasting Journalism.
When Whitney isn't breaking news, she's hanging with her poodle Derwin or crafting. She also wrote and illustrated a children's book titled “Henry Boyd’s Freedom Bed."
