Ittai Sopher is a Digital Journalist and Producer-in-Residence at WWL-TV in New Orleans.
Before joining WWL-TV, Ittai worked in news production in Washington, D.C. with veteran anchor Greta Van Susteren at Voice of America, for the special projects team at ABC7 in Los Angeles and as a radio correspondent and field engineer for the NPR and PBS affiliates in Tucson, Arizona.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Ittai moved to California for college and graduated with a political studies degree from Pitzer College, where he worked on three student publications as well as at the local radio station, KSPC-FM.
Ittai is a movie fanatic, his first journalism job was as a film columnist in college. He also has a goal to visit every U.S. President’s museum or historic site.
